high, worthwhile, and attainable goals

Goals for the snowy weekend:

• Make soup. Duh. That's required here in the south, anyway.
• Pass the black dog on a Wii Fit island run.
• Say yes to Jack when he requests snow cream for breakfast.
• Write something witty.
• Write something professional. My shoulders slumped when I typed that. They understand me.
• Figure out why my Christmas cactus is blooming. Again. She bloomed in October as well. How cheerful. How hopeful. How naive.
• Learn a lesson from my Christmas cactus.
