Even though we were a family of twenty-two this year instead of twenty-three, we

packed and drove

rode the waves

putt-putted

dug in the sand

listened

laughed

shopped

watched sunsets

picked up shells

napped

had a birthday party for Hank (15) and my nephew's stuffed dog, Buster (3.5)

cooked

ate until I had Halloween Stomach

loved

it was a God thing
