How amazing to be mentoring this young girl. I just know that God is speaking through you in such amazing ways.
A beautiful list. So glad God is using you in the mentoring...and I know that painting has to be so special to you.
I think mentoring is SO NEEDED. I am thankful you give your time to make a difference in the lives of young women. I am thankful to God for that. It makes me sad when someone would have no place to go or no one to talk to and feel so trapped and alone. This is what we are all about...just sayinxo:)
Kendal, I love your list. I just love a good book! That is fantastic you have a young girl to mentor. Thinking back about what Jen wrote today reminds me that at times we wish we were different. But the wonderful thing about God is He uses our experiences for His glory and to help others, if we are willing. I think it's great how you can come full circle and pour your wisdom in to this girl. The star and all the things it represents for your family and for Christmas are so beautiful.Merry Christmas!
I always love to hear what people are reading. Thanks.
Thanks for sharing! I am definitely going to check out the book Three Little Words!
Burning Bright? I'm going to check it out.Mentoring? That's exciting. I can think of many times as a teenager when I wished I had someone older (other than the parents, of course!) to help walk me through some of the crazy times. I'm glad you two found each other.
I have a dear friend whose daughter is battling anorexia. So profoundly thankful to read stories of those winning the battle and encouraging others along the way. Your stories are grace and hope. Blessings to you and the young friend you are mentoring.
You are beauty and grace, His hands, as you mentor that young woman. So grateful for you, Kendal. love to you and yours this Christmas,Michelle
