into wonderful light

we all have an i am list
wife
mother
teacher
runner
reader
writer
coffee drinker
chocolate inhaler
in the last week
i've picked up some new
i ams
pig farmer (or, actually, wife to man with newly acquired pigs)
across-the-mile-high-swinging-bridge walker
caregiver (mom is temporarily sick. been hanging with dad)
and the one that has
always been -
a person
chosen by god
that i may proclaim
the greatness of
him

  3. yes to all of these, though i do not (yet?) know the specific joy of pigs. and amen to the part where we are all these things in order to make much of God. He is THE 'I AM.'

  6. I am a lot of those things too (although only stuffed pigs at my house!). Congrats on defying the swinging bridge. They can be a little nerve-wracking at times.

  18. OK, so weird, I just refreshed Em's page to stroll through Imperfect Prose and my eye caught her profile and I began wondering about my own I ams. Then I hopped over here and voila, you're talking about your I am list. So odd, but cool. I love stuff like that. And BTW you are so brave to walk that bridge. Hmmmm, not sure I could do that.
