this is when you come alive

this is when you come alive -
missionary shirt-clad
and
balancing tattered bible
on open hand
and this is when you come alive -
speaking jesus,
interpreter-by-your-side,
to the seekers on pews or benches or floor
this globe trekking wasn't on our horizon
twenty-seven years ago
but god
opened us
so
every time you leave for a
far-away-pulpit
i love you more
and this is when you come alive

how about you? when does your love come alive?

  3. ahhh...you know I LOVE:) I am here smiling the big smile knowing what a privilege it is to see my hubby come alive. I think there are few gifts that can be greater for a wife than to see our husbands pursue their calling with all of their hearts:) hugs:)

  6. Oh that's awesome! My love comes alive when serving those in need and sharing the love of Christ through acts of kindness.
