fall clothes

so much change and
nothing feels normal yet
i continue to walk
down
the wrong hall at school
and only yesterday
said my church
without the word
new
it's like i'm a sweater
and
i'm stretched to the
limit
beginning to unravel
but
i don't know how to
knit

i read these words today
and
i'm choosing hope

Do you not know?

Have you not heard?
The LORD is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary,
and his understanding no one can fathom.
He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak.

Isaiah 40:28-29

Linking up with Emily at Chatting at the sky.

  1. Love that verse. So comforting whenever we're at a weak point.

  5. The sweater comment got me too. I can so relate to that but wouldn't have put it in those words. You move me with your words. Thank you for sharing.
