cornerstone

reading john 15
today
but i
couldn't get past
the first
two words
i am
the assurance
beckoned tears
and
hastened thanks
and the
two words
brought me to my
one -
hope

  11. I think I got the Beth Moore idea from you....it was in a comment somewhere....not sure where, but I checked out the link and knew it was something I had to do! I am working on 2 Timothy 1:7...so necessary for me...I often let fear creep in!
"For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind."

Soooo looking forward to memorizing this year!

  14. Dear Kendal,

I tweeted this out on Thursday morning when I read it. Your post was a warm, rich latte. Beautiful. I've been soaking in John 15 too. Love your one word: hope. So grateful for the pause together into the new year and so happy you poured your gift of words into the jam!

  16. I am contemplating I AM, too, as I write a series of Lenten devotions for my church. The magnitude of I AM is overwhelming, isn't it?
