between the branches

Caught in the Branches

greeted me
early
and
i whispered thank you
for the light
for the quiet
i whispered thank you
for
every good and perfect
gift is from above,
coming down from the
father of the
heavenly lights,
and
sunrise and moon
greeted me
early
today

    Beautiful poem. I've always felt the mornings when the moon is high in the sky are special and holy times...closer to God times.

    My husband and son saw a partial eclipse a few mornings ago right before dawn. The moon was almost to the horizon. They said it was stunning.
