with your
bright blue sky
and
balmy breezes
maybe you lured me outside today
with your
sixty-two degrees
but i know you
i've seen the calendar
and
listened to Chief Meteorologist Van Denton's
forecast
you
are
a
fickle
one
but today?
i love you
sincerely,
sun-seeker
have you had a spring-like day lately? what did you do with it?
wasn't it awesome!
ReplyDeleteWell how wonderful to be your neighbor at SDGS today! Unfortunately on this beautiful day we've been cooped up with the flu bug roaming our household. Miss you friend!
ReplyDeleteI'm in North Carolina, too. Love days like these -- and the sunset, WOW! Thanks for linking at Kelly's.
ReplyDeleteWe've had a lovely little warm up this weekend in Chicago, too, but it is now snowing.
ReplyDeleteFondly,
Glenda
Kendal, we've also had some unseasonably sunny days here in Seattle land. It just makes me happy! Haven't been out in it much but still enjoying the sunlight through my curtains and shining on my front door.
ReplyDeleteKendal, I loved reading this as my post today was on making today my favorite day :) Blessings!
ReplyDeleteWe had a surprise of a springy day here in Texas yesterday. It was 72 and gloriously sunny. I got to watch my daughter play soccer! Today brought the clouds and I hear tomorrow brings the rainy cold.
ReplyDeleteHa, this makes me giggle! Here in the Pacific Northwest, we have spring 9 months of the year-- rainy and temperate :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing... And I will be sure to let you know when the sun makes an appearance out here (probably around June.)
I love in Memphis and also get to enjoy the winter weather! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteLiving in the midwest, there is not a lot of sunshine and warmer days during the winter but when there is- oh, happiness! Blessed you linked up with The Weekend Brew.
