My joyful noise right now? The 'ready set go!' of neighbor kids splashing in their pool. Such energy in the splashing and shooshing as it floats through my window. But nature is God's noisiest orator, indeed.
I found my way here via Small Wonder Link-up. I have read some of your story and i'll be listening to your reading. I have enjoyed reading back on some of your entries and i'll be back and read some more. I have been working through the issue of compulsive overeating and learning a lot with help. Look forward to returning here.
I'm hearing my husband on a conference call -- on speaker. :-) But looking out my window I can see the sunshine and can imagine the sound of the trees waving their leaves and birds singing their songs. Love your description!
Squeaky kids outside playing in the WA sunshine... And my tiny human waking up from a nap (which I hope ends up being a good-mood wake up.) *HopeHopeHope*
Thanks for sharing this today, Kendal. I always enjoy stopping by!
The joyful noise of a quiet, slow down kind of day! I love your image of nature preaching God's grace upon grace. I am most connected with God out in nature so those words really speak to me. Blessed you shared this at The Weekend Brew.

ReplyDeleteOoo. The sounds of my dog and husband as another day begins. Plus birds outside the windows always singing His praises : ) Love this!

ReplyDeleteI am headed to the beach soon and I am taking this "wave after wave" and using it to drown out the noise of this world. Amen.
