i have made, and i will bear

we've talked lately,
you and i,
in a parking lot
at the checkout
or
in the hall
we've shared text messages, emails
and
phone calls
so i know
the
burden
you
bear
how it feels too heavy
and
you wish it was
lighter
or
not as frightening
or
vanished, even
and you came to mind
this morning
as i read the livingandactive word -
even to your old age I am he,
and to gray hairs I will carry you.
I have made, and I will bear;
I will carry and will save.
and
i wanted you to have
this
promise
today

i'm praying courage and peace and wisdom for so many women these days. what is your struggle? how can i pray for you this day?

  1. For strength and courage to continue to trust simply in Him as my chest tightens and every penny must be counted twice before bills are paid. For strength and faith as I struggle to understand and keep smiling and make the struggle a game for the ever so sweet autistic teen who eagerly awaits happiness.

  2. He will carry me - all the way to gray hairs - even if I color those gray hairs? Praying for the wisdom, dexterity - ability to say the words I need to say, do the things I need to do to be the mom my boys need. The youngest started high school - independence with training wheels is always tricky from the sidelines! Thank you for the warm encouragement!

  3. You knew. God knew. God knows what I am carrying and it is oh-so-heavy. Please pray for my friend and all of us carrying her. Pray that she chooses life and to see light in a very dark sea of all the crap she is going through.

  4. This is beautiful Kendal. I love that verse and the knowledge that we are carried in God's great love. Thanks for linking with #SmallWonder.

  5. When this livingandactive Word meets our need, it is fulfilling and it is enough. This was an absolutely beautiful deposit of grace into my day. Thank you! Praying that YOU too will be lifted, encouraged and built up in this power of being carried by His strength as you pray and encourage others.
    Blessings,
    Dawn
