snow men sledding across
the mantel
palm sunday was yesterday
and with it
came talk in bible study
of our
upcoming passover seder
it will be my first
and
it feels so holy
already
this meal steeped in tradition and scripture
this meal in which jesus participated one last time
because the lord kept vigil that night
to bring them out of
egypt,
on this night
all the israelites are to keep vigil
to honor the lord for the
generations to come
and
i am overwhelmed thinking about
the lord's vigil
over
me
this meal
this passover seder
may it bring him honor
for
generations
to
come
