visiting uncle mark

dawn
and i slip out into
cool air
cotton fields
crickets
there's been a
storm here
and the air is
pine
from the fallen
there's been a
storm here
on the chickahominy
but
power has been
restored
at last
call to me 
and
i will answer you
and
tell you great 
and
unsearchable things
you 
do 
not
know

and for these i am thankful:
