another one of my brother's photos |
the low-slung clouds
black, gray, yellow
came to meet the fall trees
green, yellow, orange, red
and my prayers
were low-slung too
were thirsty pleas
for young people
their safety
their wisdom
their understanding
their healing
and these jesus words
came to mind
take heart!
i have overcome
the
world
hallelujah!

ReplyDeleteHe has overcome...what rest there is in that simple truth. We can lay all our burdens right on that spot.
