lithia springs road

i'm stretching
Vineyard Rose
legs
long
down
this mountain
flying
under blue sky
and sunlight
i'm stretching
legs
long
down
this mountain
where roses stand sentinel
in vineyards
and
i won't hear
the word
can't,
not today

  2. talk about imagery. you've nailed it, my kendal. and my wednesday felt that way too--like all the banged-up dust in the world was thrown at me, and i just wouldn't hear the word can't.

  10. I was always told that Can't isn't a word. I try to remember that in my life and try to live it for my kids.
