waiting for green

adam-and-eve

creator and created
in perfect relationship
could this be the why of winter bare?
to remind us of
loss
and
redemption?

I had never thought of it that way before...but the seasonal changes do serve as a reminder of lose and redemption, and the faithfulness of God's love - that no matter how cold, snowy, icy the winters are, there will always be a spring :)

ReplyDeleteMy thoughts on bare? Well, there is the terrifying, and yet so freeing feeling of being completely transparent with God. He lays bare every part of me - not always a fun experience, but pruning always gives way to more fruit.

loss and redemption--this always gets me somewhere in the gut, how He trades my utter neediness and scraping mess for the fullness of Him.
