it's five-minute-friday
and
the prompt is remember
so i attempted to conjure
something
thought-provoking
poignant
or
hilarious maybe
but
i spent my before-work time
uploading photos of my
in-his-last-season-of-baseball son
to facebook
so what i have is
the longest photo caption ever
and a benediction -
may god grant you peace as you remember your children in their little
and enjoy them in their big....
the gypsy mama for five-minute-friday, michelle for caffeinated randomness, studio jru for sneak peek friday, grace for FYBF, beholding glory for faith-filled friday, cheryl for true vine challenge, barbie for freshly brewed life
Hahaha, that was a cute way of writing up for 5-minute Friday! :) I was smiling to my laptop as I soon realized it :D
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend ! :)

I have three teenaged daughters. I'm beginning to face "lasts". It is a wonderful, beatiful, sad time isn't it?
ReplyDeleteI'm not quite there yet, but in a year I will be. My heart understands!
ReplyDeleteMine is 12 years, and more of a man/ less of a boy every day, so I cherish those few times when he still is my little guy fo a bit. It's nice to see him finally becoming more and more independent.
ReplyDeleteDear Kendall
ReplyDeleteAs I am reading this, we are busy getting ready to celebrate my son's 21st birthday celebrations. Oh, enjoy your son, they grow up so incredibly fast. Over via FMF.
Much love
Mia
Loved this. My oldest son just turned 30, and my youngest son is 26. I loved their *little* - and I am so enjoying them in their *big*. Adult children that become very close friends is truly a blessing from God.
ReplyDeleteGOD BLESS!
Liked this alot.
ReplyDeleteI love this benediction. What would make a great greeting card message too! Thanks Kendall
ReplyDeletePerfect! I hadn't gotten around to visit you yet for the Five Minute Friday. So thankful you linked up today.
